One Night stopover for appointment in Nürnberg the next day. The hotel is situated in a really beautiful village (very typically Bavarian) although I arrived late, so didn't really get to see a lot of it. The staff were really helpful, and very friendly. I'd had a very stressful day, but being warmly greeted by a beautiful woman with a great big smile really took the edge off it. Family run business with 1st class service. Nothing too much trouble and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable.

Great hotel next to a pathway which takes you around a lake. Food is clearly something they are very proud of and was excellent of a little pricey. Room not massive but sufficient for the number of days I was staying. Nice relaxing bar area with piano music playing in the evening. I would recommend this as the best hotel in the Amberg area.
