The time we visited it was very hot - welcome to FL in Summer. The Coral Castle attraction is interesting and not far away. Also Robert Is Here Farmers Market is a great stop for milkshakes, fresh fruit and a mini zoo for kids.

Most travelers begin their journey to the keys here. But there is trash everywhere on the sides of the roads. The city would do well to place some trash and recycle bins along the sidewalks, but I haven't seen any.

It's a short ways to The ey Largo and the rest of the Florida Keys . Being so close to the Keys, it's easy to go see the nature parks in Key Largo . It was a weekend where there was an event. This was the best priced option at the time.

I arrived in FC at night. It was quiet. I went to dinner, stopped at a store. There was a police presence and a family walking from the store.I felt safe for the outings I made. But, I tend to be aware of my surroundings.

"Get stop with a large family we had 4 rooms. Everything was great! I wish the pool was opened just an hr later since it’s summer. Breakfast was better than a continental with a lot of choices eggs, waffles, sausage, toast, fresh made yogurt and toppings, cereals and fruit. They also, offer bananas and apples or something throughout the day, rooms are large and has a kitchen suite. No oven but range top and large refrigerator. Beds were comfortable. "

We recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Florida City and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the **friendly and accommodating staff**, especially **Adi**, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay special.
The hotel is very **safe, clean, and family-friendly**, which gave us peace of mind while traveling with loved ones. One of the most touching moments was when I mentioned I missed desi mangoes—it had been over 4 years since I had one. To my surprise and joy, **Adi and the team actually found mangoes for me**! That small but incredibly thoughtful gesture meant so much, and it really reflects the kind of people running this place: **genuinely caring and kind**.
Another highlight of our stay was the **Masala Mandala food truck** located nearby. It serves **delicious Indian food** that truly felt like home-cooked meals. While it's a bit pricier than your typical food truck, it's understandable given that it’s the **only Indian food truck in the area**, and the quality and taste made it well worth it. It definitely made our stay even more comfortable, knowing we had access to flavors from home.
If you're traveling with family and looking for a **warm, safe, and welcoming place to stay** in Florida City, I highly recommend this Quality Inn."
