Nice small town, I did not venture far but there were stores and restaurants available. Mind you they just got over the last storm and some places were still recovering but everything I needed for my stay was available.

We went during first Friday which was fun. It's a beautiful little town but not a whole lot going on. We did love the hotel restaurant- 1509 it was fantastic! We really enjoyed St Simons and Jekyll Island but the great thing is it's all very close.
"Our only small issue was that the bathroom floor was kind of messy..including a contact someone lost from their eye ha. The pool was also dirty with debris and a bandaid. There were no pool towels stocked so I had to go out to the lobby to request them. The staff was very nice, the location was great. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in this style hotel. We would book again. "
"The room was very clean. The beds were super comfy! Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs and bacon for the hot foods. I noticed that pancakes and waffles could be made, also."
