We checked in around 1AM and the staff member that assisted was friendly and hospitable. Informed us of the basics of the destination fees, and made check-in seamless. When we had questions about amenities, staff was helpful and friendly. Whenever you passed by a staff member they would always greet you, which was very welcoming. The room was also very nice, clean and spacious. Transit was also very accessible to location.

This is a great boutique style hotel. Staff very attentive, nice to have a restaurant on site and suggest getting a room with M Club access for quick and easy snacks, drinks, breakfast. Especially for a longer stay. Great location downtown and easy access to train to airport.

Enjoyable visit to Portland

The front desk was very helpful with suggestions of where to eat and directions using public transportation. We were intending to visit the Japanese Gardens anyway, so it was a pleasant surprise that the Bidwell could make a reservation and provide tickets. It was conveniently located.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. We appreciated having water station on our floor (assuming it's also on every floor). Breakfast burrito at High Horse (hotel restaurant) was pretty decent. Our main complaints were the uncomfortable pillows and mattress. Our bodies were sore both mornings after sleeping. Also, the shower sliding door does not seem to work perfectly as we notice water on the bathroom floor after we shower.
