Large rooms which was good, but terrible pillows, beds, and linens.
No access to snacks or any food after 4. They had no bottled water, and 2 cups left for water at front desk.

Everything was great from check in to departure. The bathrooms need to be updated. There was mold on the tile in the bathtub and the tub was very old. Everything else was perfect!

Room with a View
The service was the best part of this stay. We were given an upgrade in order to have a room with a balcony. The road leading to the Lodge was under repair and was muddy and very rough. It appeared they are doing work on some of the rooms that need updating and repairs. The room was clean but needed some touch up repairs on the balcony and baseboards in the bathroom. We would stay here again.

Loved the environment . Room was beautiful, comfortable, quiet. We were there off season so they were not crowded. Will definitely come again this time of year. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Nice hot tub and indoor pool. Great fitness center w/ ellipticals and weights. Loved the area. Close enough to Taos drive and enjoy the day there.

The hotel staff at Angel Fire Lodge were helpful and friendly. My daughter misplaced her wallet in a box that was thrown away. The hotel staff retrieved the wallet from the main trash in the garage without hesitation. We will stay again!

Refurbishing needed!!!
Arrived to discover handicap accessible room only had one bed. I reserved 2 queen bed room with handicap accessible. Had called to verify room but was not told handicap rooms only have one bed. Took a room with 2 beds without handicap accessibilty. Carpet was stained in many places with 2 ft or larger stains. Room in general greatly in need of refurbishing as well as hallway and other rooms I saw. Sure wouldn't stay again until it is refurbished!

We stayed in a room that had a balcony overlooking the pool, we thought this was really neat. The room was large but we could of used extra blankets which I'm sure they would of given us if we had asked. Front desk ladies were so nice and pleasant to speak with. We enjoyed our stay.

ADA rating gets a B
No air conditioning so large noisy floor fans provided. ADA accommodations get a B. Unique concept of a roll in shower and a separate bathtub. Toilet was very low and bar behind it is useless also hand dryer is to high to reach by wheelchair users.

Misery - No relief from hot, damp, chlorine air
Some rooms clearly are not acceptable for Summer rental! Our room was one in a bank of rooms that was off the pool area, no AC, and no outside window. The smell of chlorine was overwhelming, the room was hot, damp, and very uncomfortable with only a box fan to try and provide relief. These rooms are only suited for winter temps and kids who don’t mind sleeping in chlorine laden air. Room was clean, staff was nice and apologetic, but mgmt/owner is irresponsible to rent these rooms in summer!

Have stayed there previously with nothing urgent to complain about. This visit we stayed in a different wing of the lodge and it was unairconditioned! We had to put a box fan in a window to cool our room. Our west facing room was hot and we had to leave the curtains open day and night to run the box fan. Our room was unbearable during the day, especially late afternoon and early evening. Finally cooled off enough to sleep around midnight!

Will look elsewhere
This room was huge. There were always plenty of towels. The linens were clean. Now - It is very old and not updated. The floors/carpets are well stained. Everything feels a bit dirty because of the wear and tear. There is no a/c. They have a fan in the heater, but it does nothing. There is a box fan in the room. It doesn't do much but does help. However, it is extremely noisy. You can choose to talk/ watch tv or have some air circulating - not both.
