Don’t book any CityCenter apartments unless you are happy to be disappointed.
On route to the airport the accommodation I booked was changed to something else via a WhatsApp message.
On arrival spent over an hour in the dark, late at night trying to locate the apartment - turns out the name of the road, name of the apartment and the main apartment door number was nowhere on display to assist.
With 2 elderly people with me we had 50 steps/5 flights of stairs to go up and down (my original was a 1st floor one).
This wasn’t a holiday but to attend a funeral.
The first two days we had no warm / hot water, I had to constantly chase to get this resolved.
TV could not be used as it needed to scan for channels and that didn’t work.
Original apartment I booked had a microwave and toaster this one had neither.
Front entrance had exposed cables hanging from a socket as you enter.
Front entrance has rubbish thrown under the stairs in full view.
The balcony areas hadn’t been cleaned for months / if at all. Filthy floor, stained with goodness knows what including birds filth and on the chairs outside.
This apartment I did not book it, they changed it last minute, was ‘not fit for purpose’ nor ‘like for like’.
Complained to Expedia as my booking was via this route and they say the property management team are not interested in a refund which by the way I have asked for half back so more than fair.
Expedia have offered a £75 voucher to use on the next booking - no chance.
