Learn more about Georgetown
Beneath ancient live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, Georgetown's historic waterfront reveals America's colonial past without the crowds of its famous neighbors. Kayak through cypress swamps where alligators sun themselves, or join ghost tours that bring maritime lore to life. The Kaminski House Museum offers glimpses into plantation aristocracy, while the Gullah Museum preserves the culture of descendants of enslaved West Africans. Waterfront restaurants serve fresh catches with views of returning shrimp boats. Browse the antique shops along Front Street before watching the sunset paint Winyah Bay in watercolour hues. Nearby Hobcaw Barony's protected wilderness tells environmental stories spanning three centuries.

Caribbean Resort & Villas
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars! We absolutely loved our stay in Myrtle Beach! This was so much more than just a hotel room—it was basically a furnished 2 bedroom apartment. We had a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, a washer and dryer, and they even had a vacuum! Having all of those little conveniences made such a difference, especially traveling with our family. The location was PERFECT! We were right at the beach and close to all of the attractions, restaurants, and things we wanted to do. We could spend the day out exploring and be back at the beach or in our room without having to drive forever. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. The price was way more affordable than I thought it would be which made the whole experience even better. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. If you’re looking for a family-friendly place in Myrtle Beach that feels more like home than a hotel, I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back! 🌴🌊"

"Stay was nice...loved the ocean view!!"
Anderson Ocean Club and Spa by Oceana Resorts
"I booked this room over 6 months prior to my vacation, and to be honest, I had forgotten what I booked. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was absolutely lovely. I was traveling with a large group and we were well taken care of. I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a hotel with a bit of a home feel. No restaurant, so no room service, but there was a mini kitchen with full size appliances and dishes, cookware, and utensils, if you were so inclined. The bed was a absolute dream. Haven’t slept that well in quite sometime. It was so nice, I am even considering the time share route."

Coral Beach Resort and Suites
"Great for families right on the beach with lots of pools for the children. Good cocktails at the bar. Kitchenette in the room. Bring your own pans if you want to cook."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N Kings Hwy
"The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast each morning was a good start to the day. Scrambled or hard boiled eggs each morning with sausage patties along with muffins or biscuits and also waffles. Plenty of different juices to choose from and coffee available 24-7. And thanks so much for free parking if you're staying there. That's a big stickler with me."
Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark
"It was a nice place just the room was small, it had hair in the tub and tables weren’t clean."
Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean 22 Myrtle Beach.
"I loved the room layout and really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It suited our needs for traveling. I wish it was explained more clearer about the beach view which is limited. The room we stayed are super clean. The only request is that kitchen cabinet could have been wiped off clean. (sticky residues). Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stays and will definitely come back next time."

For an enriching experience that encompasses the city's historical and cultural landmarks, a stay of at least 3 days is recommended. This timeframe allows visitors to explore various attractions such as the scenic marina, indulge in local seafood, and enjoy activities like boating, canoeing, and sightseeing. Those travelling on a budget will find that Georgetown offers great value for money, particularly during these months when prices may drop, making it an ideal destination for those keen to immerse themselves in its rich heritage and natural beauty.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Georgetown, start by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. - Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Georgetown hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average.
