Salak Boutique Hotel
"This hotel was just fine, and served its purpose. I needed a place to stay for a night-long layover near KUL (or KLIA). Everything worked as it should; the bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well. Decent bathroom and fast, friendly check-in."
KIP Core Soho Suite by Five Senses
"It’s near the airport, and right next to a local mall. We could not find a decent vegetarian meal here. The checkin process was not straightforward. The number given as contact is for someone in Marketing. We we given another number by Marketing to call the team to get details on how to get to my room. I was then given a link to register and to provide an image of my ID/Passport plus I had to pay a 200 ringgit deposit for the room for any incidentals before I was given the room details. Then I had to let the team know I had paid my refundable deposit before being given more information on how to get the access key to my room or unit. The whole process is a little daunting for me. Recommendation is to make sure to book your room at least a few days ahead of time to navigate the process and if you don’t mind simple foods. Shower doesn’t have a shower curtain so be prepared for a wet bathroom after you shower. Overhead protector is a nice touch but its remote has to be very close to the projector for it to work. Water filter and laundry washer/dryer is also very convenient."

"Free upgrade on room."
Holiday Inn Sepang Airport by IHG
"We had a brilliant stay at Holiday Inn Sepang. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout, and the location is amazing — just a few minutes from KL Airport with a free shuttle bus service that runs pretty much to schedule (pickup from Terminal 1, Level 1, Gate 3). The hotel itself was really clean, and our family room was fantastic, with some lovely thoughtful touches for the kids. The beds were super comfy too, which made a big difference after a long flight. Breakfast was a real highlight — a great selection of fresh food including noodle soup, desserts, yoghurts, and drinks. There was genuinely something for everyone. Another big plus is the location — the hotel sits right next to a shopping strip with everything you could need, including McDonald's, Burger King, local restaurants, and convenience stores. Overall a fantastic stay and a perfect base for anyone flying in or out of KL. Highly recommend!"
Aerotel Kuala Lumpur
"Ideal location for a stopover. Staff were really friendly."
Sama-Sama Express KLIA Terminal 2 - Airside Transit Hotel
"It’s a fantastic idea, very clean and well maintained. It is lovely to have all the facilities of a hotel room on the transit side at the airport. No need to pass through immigration if you are transferring to another flight with a longer stopover. Clean, quiet and private with a shower room and toilet in the room."

For those interested in exploring the town's key landmarks, history, and culture—including business, dining, shopping, friendly people, budget-friendly establishments, family-friendly spaces, walking areas, cafes, luxury spots, and relaxing venues—a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This period offers an ideal opportunity to experience the area's rich cultural tapestry and historical attractions without compromising on affordability.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For great hotel deals in Sepang, you may discover attractive offers by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. If you’re planning a last-minute trip, you're more likely to find discounted rates in the Last-Minute Deals area. Moreover, the Smart Shopping tool on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re updated on any price drops or available rooms. Enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, so you never miss an opportunity to secure a Sepang hotel deal.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Sepang hotel. For those in search of distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price appear higher, we may suggest alternative, more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Sepang's excellent public transport links, you might find an independent hotel further out that is still well connected and more likely to be affordable. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
