Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit.

I could check-in a little earlier, which was great after a night flight. The wifi is strong and stable, kitchen area is spacious. My bed was very comfortable. I slept great. Like many places in Chile, things seem to be built quickly and with cheap materials. Things that didn’t affect my comfort but for example, the soap distributor in the shower doesn’t work well. As far as safety and location, it’s very good, staff is nice and welcoming.

Es war alles toll, neue saubere Einrichtung freundlicher Empfang. Bestes Frühstück in ganz Chile. Rundum Klasse Schade hatte nur 4 Tage. Das Bild entspricht nicht dem was man vorfindet. Es war viel schöner eingerichtet.
