ibis Plymouth
"Not luxurious but very adequate for our needs. Seamless check in, Every thing we needed in the room and breakfast was very good and plentiful."
Welbeck Manor and Golf
"Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. At breakfast there was a bulb going in the main light which was flashing all the time we were having breakfast. Fire exit handle was broken in restaurant and fire extinguisher needs looking at. Food at breakfast was very nice 👍"
Mariners Guest House
"Very friendly guest house, many returnees met at breakfast"
Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa
"Only issue that I can mention was the fact there was no one at the pool reception when we went for our first swim. A guest had to show me how to access. Consequently I went into the members changing room then when I eventually spoke to a girl she informed me I should not be there but to go to the other changing room. Had to ask for a tag. 2nd day no problem and helpful staff. Breakfast amazing It was my birthday and they gave me a little gift. Will definitely be going back"
The Moorland Hotel
"Friendly and accommodating staff - decor a bit tired - shower was broken on arrival but the staff were quick to sort it out. Clean, tidy and in a beautiful environment - lovely views from my balcony. Breakfast was good - ordering in advance at a set time meant no waiting for hot food."

This duration allows for a budget-friendly experience while discovering the city’s charming marina, majestic cathedral, intriguing monuments, and inviting forests. With plenty of opportunities for boating and enjoying the friendly atmosphere, Plymouth offers great value for money for history and culture enthusiasts.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com may offer savings when you explore the DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals sections for Plymouth, where you could find discounted hotel rates close to your travel date. You’re more likely to see flash sales and special promotions if you enable alerts via email or push notifications. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you secure a potentially budget-friendly last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Plymouth hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised experience and potentially greater value. When you book with Hotels.com, we’ll let you know if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Plymouth's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further afield that is still conveniently linked. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
