Our stay at Demeure Saint Louis was a highlight of our trip! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The house is historic and beautiful. We stayed in one of the apartments (one king bed bedroom and two twin beds in the main room) and it was spacious, perfectly clean, and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, the bedding, towels, and kitchen linens were high quality, plentiful, and comfortable. We were there during a heatwave, which tested the AC, but it kept up! We appreciated the AC, the fans, and the automatic window shades to keep out the sun when desired. In the heat, we took full advantage of the pool and the shaded garden area. The pool was clean and they had a fun selection of floaties. There were plentiful lounge chairs. I gave maintenance 4 stars rather than 5 because the garden could have been even tidier (a couple torn cushions, some weeds, ants on the lounge chairs that sat partially in the grass), but truly nothing that kept us from having a wonderful time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Demeure Saint Louis!

This is a grand, elegant house with beautifully appointed and capacious rooms. There were several sitting rooms around the house, and lovely, festively-lit outdoor spaces. There is a swimming pool and a hot tub, with robes provided. The eclectic and tasteful decor mixed period fidelity and modern convenience. The high-tech kitchenette unit in our room somehow merged seamlessly with the authentic wooden shutters and antique fixtures. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the walled Cite. We could sit on the window sill, overlooking the garden patio and enjoy clear views of the Cite. Safe and convenient parking was included.The breakfast was free, and it was generous and delicious, served on beautiful china in an elegant dining room. Our hosts, Marianne and Stefan, were gracious, responsive and friendly. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Our bathroom window offered an amazing view of the castle. The couple who run the property are always ready to help.
