Stayed to visit family. Room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent! The staff were all very kind and helpful. We stayed here because the position is very handy for the town shops and the ferry. There was a bit of building work happening close by but this did not bother us. The views from the front are wonderful especially at night seeing the ‘Tower of Refuge’ with lights on and lights along the prom.

Wonderful older building on the sea front with an elevator/lift. Simply oozes character. We were on the top floor in the slightly more expensive larger rooms overlooking the sea and the port area to watch the ships coming and going. Close to downtown for restaurants and shopping and easy walking distance from the ferry terminal. Excellent cooked breakfast included. Staff were most helpful. All at a reasonable cost. The only downside is very slight evidence of fighting to keep damp out of this older building subject to winter storms off the Irish Sea - did not detract in any way from our enjoyable stay.

Bathroom had used dental floss on the floor and in the bedroom under the radio was a used tissue. Not enough staff on duty but they were pleasant. Shower stopped working with no water coming out of it. Great location

Pretty good overall, but the hotel feels a bit like a work in progress and the decor is a bit tired. Room furniture seems hurriedly assembled from second hand stores! That said - great location, very comfy bed, clean and airy room, large clean bathroom, cooked breakfast!

Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was odd to get to going up the stairs then down the stairs. No A/C so windows open… except open to a bar right outside which was loud until 3am. Yikes. Wonderful location next to the promenade and shops. Good food options around too. TV was small. Bar area had broken drafts for the beer. Breakfast was so/so but they would make you eggs however you’d like fresh, so that was nice.

We had a lovely spacious room with a nice shower, tea/coffee making facilities but unfortunately it was room 206 (207 is likewise) which suffered from loud banging music last Friday night from Wetherspoons next door at 2nd floor level until 03:00am Saturday night wasn’t anywhere near as bad but could still hear music playing loudly after midnight. The breakfast buffet was very nice with plenty of choice of hot food and pastries etc. The hotel is almost on the promenade directly opposite the Bee Gees sculpture and is a 5 mins walk to shops, supermarket and eating places, there is a bus stop virtually outside on the street for a bus to/from airport. Staff were friendly and helpful

The good: - Location, location, location - Write near the center of everything in Douglas - Accessible to the beach, in front of the Beegess - The staff was very helpful. The bad: - The photo in the hotel site looks great. - The place smell musty - In the room, the iron stand was broken. The coffee machine still had pods from the previous stay - We stayed there two nights, after the first night and room service, we noticed that the same towel was folded and kept on the rack. How -> it had a specific stain on it and it was there on the new one

Comfortable, clean big room overlooking the promenade. Comfortable big bed. All staff very welcoming and friendly. Just 5 mins from ferry terminal Only slight issue was leaky shower screen and windows not very soundproof despite being double glazed. However would thoroughly recommend. Excellent value

I loved it. The view from my room was amazing, I didn't tire of it. The room was incredibly spacious, the bathroom too: I loved having the Nespresso machine. Blinds provided a great blackout so I slept well. Very close to bus stops and high street shops if needed. Will definitely return.

Simply furnished and decorated, but clean and specious room. Refurbished bathroom and shower area with sample cosmetics adding a nice touch. Room 206 near to building site, so awakened earlier than anticipated. Last minute booking so no choices. Fabulous staff and breakfast. With eggs cooked to order. Spotlessly clean.

Nice large room. Bay window Excellent location for getting round! We had an en-suite- slightly dated! Shower was good. Bath taps didn’t work but that was not an issue unless one needed to use the bath. Could do with some refreshing! Stocked well with a proper coffee machine and pods, electric kettle. Even a fan! Clean towels. Rooms aren’t made up daily, but then it was good value with my points. Lots of restaurants one could walk to for dinner! Breakfast was available but not included in the price of our room. Location was great. Just by the ferry terminal! Unfortunately there was a bus strike so can’t comment on other travel!
