Amber-hued palaces rise from Jaipur's dusty streets like a fever dream, where elephants still plod ceremoniously up ramparts as they have for centuries. The City Palace complex reveals courtyard after courtyard of architectural splendour, while nearby Jantar Mantar's massive astronomical instruments still accurately track the stars. Haggle good-naturedly at Johri Bazaar for textiles that put modern dyes to shame. The honeycomb façade of Hawa Mahal was built so royal ladies could observe street life unseen. Nahargarh Fort offers sunset views that explain why maharajas chose this spot to rule their desert kingdom. For a taste of local life, visit Chokhi Dhani in the evening, where traditional Rajasthani village life unfolds with food, music, and puppetry that hasn't changed in generations.

Ramada by Wyndham Jaipur
"Staff was helpful, Hotel was clean, and location was near to market."
ITC Rajputana, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Jaipur
"We had a very pleasant stay at ITC Rajputana last week. The hotel beautifully reflects Rajasthan’s heritage, with elegant architecture, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. I was travelling with my mother, and the staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and helpful in making her comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The onsite restaurants were very good, with enjoyable food and service. Breakfast offered a good variety, although the taste was fairly average and could be improved. The hotel is close to Jaipur’s main railway station, which is convenient, but the surrounding area becomes heavily congested during peak evening hours. We frequently got stuck in traffic while returning to the hotel, so guests should allow extra travel time. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay, and I would gladly recommend ITC Rajputana, particularly for its warm hospitality and excellent onsite dining options."
Umaid Bhawan - A Heritage Style Boutique Hotel

For those keen to explore the city's rich tapestry of history and culture, a stay for at least 2 to 3 days is ideal. This period allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in the fascinating landmarks, temples, monuments, museums, and shopping scenes that showcase Jaipur’s heritage, all while enjoying lower prices on accommodation.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a range of options to help you save on your trip to Jaipur. Enabling email alerts or push notifications ensures you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature is a comparison tool available via the app, allowing you to compare hotel prices and amenities so you can book a last-minute getaway with confidence.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Jaipur hotel. For those interested in distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to major attractions or city centres can provide convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, it may be worth considering hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
