City HideAway
"The staff is very friendly. The check-in process was quick Room: If it's just to sleep overnight you will be happy. It's a tight fit for two people. Corridors are very musty The space is limited in the room and no amenities are available. Better lighting in the bathroom is suggested. Overall a clean hospitable and affordable stay, close and convenient for transportation and sightseeing. We had a good time. Thank you."
The Dean Galway
"Beautiful hotel in a great location. We were upgraded on arrival which was great and the staff at reception were friendly and professional. I had a slight issue with my card but the staff were very patient and courteous. Barfood was lovely, coffee area at reception is great and we loved the snug bar. Decor and vibes are what strikes you first but it's the staff that make the difference. Will definitely be back."
The Snug Townhouse
"The name doesn’t lie, the rooms are snug! But, the mattress was co for table and the shower was fantastic!"
Queen Street Place
"Excellent location. Cleanliness top notch"
Clayton Hotel Galway
"Very helpful staff, excellent bar tender"
Harbour Hotel
"Our room was clean and confortable, Staff was very nice and hotel is well located"
Clybaun Hotel Galway
"The Clybaun Hotel is centrally located to enjoy the different neighborhoods of Galway. Great central spot for taking side trips. The room was large, beds were comfortable, and everything from the bathroom to the floors were very clean. Bring your swimsuit and workout clothes as they have a super nice pool and gym on the underground parking floor. They do support the local swim team, but you are well notified of the times they are there and it is easy to work around. They have a delicious breakfast that everyone will enjoy. This hotel also has a restaurant called the Courtyard that you should make a reservation before arriving - check photos to decide if you want in the enclosed courtyard or inside. The restaurant staff was thoughtful, knew the menu, and so good. We were able to make a reservation when we arrived at 6pm for 8:15pm, so it is worth asking. The staff throughout the hotel were professional and went that extra step to ensure our trip was going well. Easy check in and check out. HINT: 1) For Americans driving there - The Clybaun Hotel sign is as visible as the Courtyard sign. My husband and I thought there were two hotels next to each other meaning two parking areas. Nope, that is the Courtyard Restaurant. 2) You can self-park in the open-air parking lot around if the hotel and they have a below ground parking lot for free. For a new driver on the other side of the road, it can be tricky, but nice to have. We definitely enjoyed our stay."
Eyre Square Hotel
"The staff were excellent and accommodating. We had to switch rooms due to an issue and the staff made the transfer as smooth as possible. This made a world of difference for our stay. I would highly recommend them. The location was perfect as well. We are traveling via train and it's is very walkable."
Nox Hotel
"Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and breakfast was great. It was hot when we were visited, but the window didn’t open very wide and there was no fan. It was about a 20 minute walk to the main area with all of the pubs. The staff was very helpful when I left some things behind. They kept it for me and stored it until my son could pick it up."
