Leonardo Hotel Southampton
"A clean and well-maintained property, the rooms were roomy. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had a good variety. Tereza at the front desk was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The property is about a 30-minute walk from the train station and cruise ship terminal, mostly level with one slight uphill grade. There is a convenience store about a block away as well as restaurants and shopping within about a 10-minute walk. We would stay there again."
The Langstone Quays
"Second visit, great stay. Warm welcome by staff -at reception, breakfast and the leisure area, all very professional. Loved the breakfast buffet and setting, and enjoyed the use of leisure facilities. Plenty of parking, and great location to find. You do need a car/taxi if you plan to eat outside the hotel. Room was very comfortable, and we were complimentary upgraded to one with a view. If I was being really picky the one thing that would have improved the stay is a revamp on the jacuzzi - it was much colder temp than the pool itself, and the jets were poor - perhaps just need their nozzle directions adjusted. Other half loved the sauna and steam room whilst I was swimming."
