Nette, gezellige kamer met verzorgingsproducten op de badkamer. Het ontbijt was prima. Geweldig behulpzame host! Vlakbij het strand in een rustige straat.

Enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. A rather small room but perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was really well done and the staff were wonderful. Centrally located; easy walk to the beach. It’s an old town house converted into lots of bedrooms so you are quite close to others. The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbor hacking and coughing all night which was a bit off putting. Otherwise, a fine stay for the price!

It was great for what we wanted. We had a very warm welcome and thought the property was decorated well, with interesting accessories. Breakfast was laid out well, which was varied and plentiful. The lovely girl working there was very friendly and helpful. We were at the top of the guest house, which would not be great if you struggled with stairs, but we were fine. It was in a quiet location where it was easy to park and walk to the seafront.

Our room was small, particularly the bathroom. There was a shelf immediately over the sink which made it very difficult to brush your teeth. The breakfast was not good

Having stayed with my daughter in June, we had such a nice stay. The Customer Service from Andrew and Anne was exceptional. They could not have been more helpful from start to finish and it was an absolute pleasure to stay at The Cherry Tree. Our room was really well thought out and the bathroom was so clean. The breakfast was an unexpected surprise when we walked in as was so varied and wonderfully laid out, plus delicious coffee from the machine, not a stew in a Cafetière. I really could not recommend The Cherry Tree highly enough. Excellent location for so many amenities and the sea! We will definitely be returning.

Although we had a nice stay and the room was adequate, we were incredibly disappointed that the room we booked online was completely different to the room we stayed in. The bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together with no topper so you could feel the separation. The advertised room had a free standing bath with lovely details, whereas our bathroom was very standard. The bedroom displayed online had an original fireplace and again lovely details but the room we had was very plain. It does have lovely big windows however. The location was great for the Seven Sisters walk / coast and also close enough to the train station. Breakfast was good with a wide selection.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the couple that run it are delightful. We had one or two niggles though. 1) Our twin room was quite small and the shower was tiny. It was a good thing we are not large people! 2) The shelf over the basin was very annoying as you hit your nose or face every time you do your teeth. Suggest they take the shelf off and put something elsewhere. 3) Not a good idea to put damaged strawberries out for breakfast. 4) I am surprised they consider themselves a 4* establishment, more like 3* in my view. Our room was definitely not 4*but I am sure there are some lovely big rooms in the rest of the B&B.
