Extremely disappointing property apartment 206
Our stay at Ola Grande was extremely disappointing. The property was not as described and, in our opinion, was not fit for purpose.
On arrival, there was no running water from either the shower or bath, meaning we could not properly wash ourselves.
There were numerous safety and maintenance issues, including:
• Exposed electrical socket/wiring in a bedroom with 2 beds which was to be used by our children
• Cracked and sharp shower tiles
• Trip hazards on the stairs
• Rusted metal screws protruding from the entrance door
• A non-functioning garbage disposal
• A strong musty smell throughout the apartment
• General cleanliness and maintenance concerns
The property is clearly in need of a full renovation. These were not minor cosmetic issues; they affected our ability to use the accommodation and raised genuine safety concerns, particularly when travelling with children.
The lack of basic running water, combined with the poor condition and safety hazards, made the stay extremely uncomfortable. We raised our concerns but were very disappointed by the lack of assistance from both hotels.com & the management company.
The location near Cocoa Beach Pier is convenient, but this does not compensate for the condition of the property.
We would not recommend this property in its current condition.
