They made a few mistakes in the beginning with my room but they made up for them with extra excelent service, shout out to Mr Yanto and mba Belinda at Kayu Manis restaurant and all the staff at the restaurant for treating me and my Mom with smile, kindness and professionalism. This hotel is so beautiful and luxurious , from the lobby stuff to the restaurant servers they all so helpful and friendly only thing is the location is not covering

Nice hotel but room too tired now and desperately need refurbishment. Some weird smell when entered the room. Shower room has faulty part so I used the bath often. Breakfast really nice varieties but taste very average. I expected more from this as one of the reason I booked to stay in this hotel. I would say overall it’s overrated. Gym facilities is fab though!

Whilst the property is grand, it feels to be lacking a soul. If you are travelling with a family, you will probably find the children running up and down the bedroom corridors, screaming in the lobby and running between the tables of the cocktail bar on a Saturday night reassuring. The buffet breakfast contained many local choices and was clearly popular with the packed large dining hall, the overflow tables in the corridor and the roped queuing area and the rows of dentist style waiting room chairs for those wanting to eat. Whilst the hotel seemed popular with the many, many people who were there, it wasn't what we were expecting or hoping for. The out of town location was also not helpful for us as tourists in Yogyakarta.
