The hotel is beautiful and tastefully done, ammenities are good and breakfast is nice. But the service is a little off. We arrived at 6PM, and could not access the hotel. We called and called and called, and there was no answer. We waited for about 15 minutes before a guest at the hotel (who said the same thing happened to them the day before) called someone, who in turn, called someone... we waited more, then someone came to check us in. He was nice, but didn't speak English and we had to use a little gesture and guesses. Besides, the elevator in the hotel is terrible, and gets stuck and won't open--we got stuck two days in a row. When the front desk woman saw us scrabbling and scared, she rolled her eyes and said "It's because you are four people. Too heavy!" This is the first time in my life we've been called "heavy.' Before this day, we were always known as tiny and lean. Besides, my little daughter is only 10, and the elevator says capacity is 8 people. One more thing, it's impossible to drive to the hotel. It took my husband a lot of ingenuity to figure out. GPS was useless.
