This property is in a very sketchy section of town. I was told that it is "safe" to walk close by during the day, but not at night. There is only one elevator and the open walkways are split between floors. My sister and I returned to retrieve my luggage after she came in on her flight after determining this was not a safe location. At night, there were two security guards in the front, but poor lighting and no one in the area of the rooms. The clerk would not come out of the lobby and it was locked. Really substandard.

When we arrived, it was an unwelcome feeling. Although our room was already paid for the man made us show our credit card again. He also made a sign a paper we were assigned room 208 very surprised with the large facility that there were only five cars in the parking lot as we walk to the second floor. We noticed a man on the first floor with his door open shaving his head there was also another young gentleman in the parking lot that was watching us walk to our room. We opened our room and were greeted by a stain on the first bed and a bad smell. We immediately shut . It was not a safe place. We walked to our car and passed another gentleman who was pushing big boxes on a cart when we got to our car there was a man on the second floor that was just watching us. We felt very unsafe and this might not be a true hotel. Something else might be going on. I feel Econolodge should look into this situation.

The room could have used a better clean…there were dirty boot marks all across the floor and splatter marks over the dresser. Towels and pillow cases were not crisp and white…. Kind of yellowish tint which gives the impression they are not necessarily clean. Sink faucet leaked at faucet and under sink.

If not for absolute necessity I would not have stayed here to begin with. There was broken glass in the mini fridge and it was super dirty. The floors were sticky and filmy. There was no shampoo/conditioner/soap for showering. It was noisy and the curtains didn’t block out the light from the outside so it was bright as day in my room all night. I packed up and left at 6am

Bad review: Where to start….I was charged separately, charged for the room then charged for taxes. I paid for a smoking room on and 2nd or 3rd level and ended up with a room on the 1st floor. The staff was rude and didn’t really want to help when I asked for basic needs of the room (towels, toilet tissue etc). The shower BARLEY worked, the AC unit started smoking, WiFi didn’t work, you have to sign into your own accounts on the Amazon TV, the antenna ok the TV didn’t work, house keeping NEVER came until the last day and they just hung around in the next room until we checked out. If anything it’s just a place to lay your head at the end of a day full of fun. Good review: 15 mins from downtown, good mom and pop restaurants around the corner from the hotel, lots of activities within 15-20 minutes of the hotel

Average Stay

The location was a bit sketchy. Lots of truckers and "lot lizards" at night time. The room was not super clean. Comforter had a cigarette burn. The toilet needed to flushes to get anything down. The TV didn't work.

Don't expect to much

We were given a ground floor room that reeked of Pine-sol and looked very basic, no-frills. Because the TV didn't work, they moved us to another ground floor room, and we had the same situation. Finally moved us to a second floor room and it smelled so much better and the TV worked.

It's a OLD Days Inn with new paint. It was clean, except for the hairs in the sink and empty beer bottles in the cabinet under the tv. The mattress felt very "cheap" and there was only a fitted sheet and a bed spread. No blanket or regular sheet. It is a big place, plan on climbing stairs if you get a 2nd or 3rd floor room. It was quiet, plenty of parking and you do get what you paid for. I would say it is good for an overnight if you don't need something fancy!

Worst hotel ever

I didn’t stay I arrived the woman gave me a room on first floor as I walked to it the window was open. Went in room couldn’t close window when we closed it wouldn’t lock. Went to service desk and requested another room. Gave me a room on second floor. Walk in crow bar sitting on bed checked window and it didn’t lock. Bed spreads were stained. Sheets were stained on both beds. Bathroom was discusting shower was all black and dirty. Went back to service woman and asked for my money back. Not to mention it’s next to a correction facility
