The staff is nice and the room was fine, but this is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. I suppose the earplugs on the nightstand should have been our warning, but I thought they were for the construction that this hotel has been undergoing since January 2025. Although construction on a downtown hotel would not have been a deal-breaker for us, we weren't warned about it when we booked, and only learned about it the day before when we received an email from the manager. I am including that information here for those who care about that. We stayed over a weekend, so construction noise wasn't an issue for us. However, I can only imagine what it's like during the week. The walls at this hotel are paper-thin. What we experienced was VERY loud cars whizzing by all night long. On the first night, a car seemingly pulled up to the front and played an entire song at the loudest volume setting at 12:30 am. On our second night, we heard someone screaming at their friends in a nearby room at 1:30 am, and these are the most memorable disruptions to our sleep. It was just chaotic, and this is coming from a heavy sleeper who lives in another major city's downtown. I have never left a hotel review before, but this was bad enough that I felt people should know. If you need to wake up early, work in your room, or want to relax, consider yourself warned.
