My experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standard I expected. Upon check-in, I was given a room key to a room that was already occupied, which was both uncomfortable and concerning. After returning to the front desk, I was reassigned to another room that had a very strong smoke odor. Additionally, the internet in the room never worked, despite my attempts to connect.
When I brought these issues to the front desk, the staff member began speaking in Spanish with the manager. I was not included in the conversation and did not understand what was being discussed, which made me feel that important information regarding my concerns was not communicated to me. I was offered the option to work from the lobby; however, my work is confidential and requires privacy, making that solution impractical. Overall, this experience was unacceptable and does not reflect the level of quality and professionalism I paid for. I expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation.
