The room was clean with 2 comfortable beds as requested. It was a rainy, windy and cold night, so the heater was on the first night. However, it was turned off during the night because it was noisy and awaken me each time it came on. Our room was on 2nd floor borded by free parking. Along our side of the building a truck started turning on the engine, sounded like a pickup truck, for five minutes at a time. They then turned it off about 20 minutes and then on again from about 2:30am to 4:30am when they actually stopped or left. The final disappointment was to realize when I unpacked at home my natural hair comb and Pattern brush was not in my bag. I never realized it wasn't there to pack when I packed to checkout. We placed the sign on the door for ""Later Serve" as we were only there two nights.
The hotel had security features in place that required your room key to request the elevator to leave the lobby, enter the building and enter our room. They provided free coffee and tea in the lobby and room, and pay-for breakfast from 6am to 11am. There is a Black Bear Diner next door in walking distance across the parking lot. Our event was a 37 minutes across the bridge. Shopping stores like Ross for Less, Trader Joe's and gas stations. Great lication for visiting San Francisco across the bridge. Overall I was pleased with the cost, location, cleanliness, but sorry there was someone with the ability to enter our room in our absence and help themselves to my Pattern brush & comb.
