This is a nicely located hotel. I booked as it was much cheaper than surrounding properties. Floors 1-11 were under construction. There was a smell of drywall and paint through out though. The staff were nice, the rooms spacious and nice. Aside from the construction, the only issue is the number of elevators for the demand - you often have to wait 5+ minutes. Overall apart for the construction- this is a good Hilton.

At the time of booking, it wasn't mentioned that the hotel would be undergoing renovations and that the pool would be closed. The room we had booked wasn't available, but the staff didn't mention this. The ventilation in the room was blowing directly onto the bed. It was uncomfortable, but since the room was warm and recently renovated, we had to leave the ventilation on.

I was told by staff that the hotel is an older building. Also, I was told the air conditioner couldn’t be turned on at this time because the building is operating on heat. The suggestion from staff was to open the window until the room cooled off. Unfortunately, that made sleeping at night extremely uncomfortable because of the street noise. I picked the Hilton because of the big chain name. I will never do that again and I will never stay at this hotel again.
