Ismail at the Front Desk was extremely helpful in resolving a situation in our daughter’s room where the toilet doesn’t work. He should be highly commended for his excellent customer service. Alvin also is quite efficient and prompt in responding to a request we had. We will stay again at the hotel because of its staff and the location.

Highly commend the staff for their efficiency and high customer service level. Ismail gets a special mention for helping out with a situation involving our daughter’s room toilet not working. And Alvin for responding promptly to a few requests of ours. Both are friendly hard workers. The hotel is lovely and in a great location. However, it’s rather old and some rooms probably need a little more upkeep.

I wanted to love my stay at the hotel. The front desk people were excellent. The area around the hotel was safe and there were restaurants within walking distance. However, as for my room, my shower was clogged with hair and the problem extended further into the plumbing, so my sink was extremely slow to drain. The result was water all over the floor in the bathroom. A real mess. You can see this had happened before because there were water stains all over the room on the carpet. It was disappointing.

The staff are friendly. You have to get there by metro and tram from the central station, but it's close to a tram station, and there are lots of restaurants and boutiques nearby, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The facilities seem a little old; when I first stayed in a room on the 8th floor, I was bothered all night by noise from what seemed to be the air conditioning equipment on the floor above. The next day I was moved to a room on the 2nd floor, which was much more comfortable. The gym on the 8th floor offers great views, so please visit if you have the time. Overall, I was glad I stayed at this hotel.

A hotel that - like so many others - have seen their heyday come and go. The interior is old but not antique wood and the marbles have cracks. But the staff is polite and helpful, even though they charged us twice (pre-payment that first receptionist didn't see, when I checked at the room and went back after 30 minutes, his colleague found the payment.) Helpfull and nice but not a five star hotel (anymore).

The staff were very kind and I was actually able to check in an hour early as my room was ready. The breakfast was very nice and beds very comfortable. The WiFi was reliable and easy to access. On my last night there was a noise issue in a nearby room and they kindly (and very quickly) moved me away so I could sleep.
