I gave the Charlesmark Hotel five stars mainly because of its outstanding location. It is directly across from Copley Station, overlooks the Boston Marathon finish line, and is close to the Charles River. It is also an easy walk to Boston Common and downtown Boston. For sightseeing and getting around the city, the location was extremely convenient.

Highly enjoyed my stay at the Charlesmark! This is a prime time location especially for travelers intending to walk everywhere. Staff was always available, helpful and friendly. The location is perfect in downtown Boston. Don’t count on the hotel amenities though. Parking is as close as possible considering the options in downtown. No laundry facilities or gym. The café is great for breakfast but not included in the room (they give 20% off though).
