I did not mean to rate amenities as poor, more that this is a lovely basic hotel with no real amenities unless you consider breakfast which was great. The accommodations are simple, clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked well the staff was helpful, and the continental breakfast was great with lots of choices for a cold breakfast. All rooms require climbing 1 or more flights of steps with bags so if that would be a challenge for you, do not select this property. Great location.

It was a nice spot. A small room with poor tv viewing options.. no streaming options and World Cup was playing but Fox wasn’t even an option. Other than that the location is perfect, the room was quiet, secure and clean. Overall, it was a decent experience and I’d probably stay here again.

Great location, safe area super walkable. Staff was very friendly. Easy instructions to follow. It almost felt like at was staying at someone’s cozy house. I stayed there 3 night in one of the shared bathroom rooms and I never had an issue with it being occupied when needed and it was always clean. I would definitely stay here again. Had such a lovely time this past weekend. Room was very clean, and property is in a quieter part of town, so it's not super loud at night. Parking is limited, but not too bad getting into with a smaller vehicle. Even with the compact size of Boston, I was easily able to walk between the the NE Aquarium and MFA!
