Nice hotel, however alot of steps as quite a quirky layout. Rooms really nice and beds very comfy. Breakfast good although may have to wait as can get quite busy. Staff very helpfull. Only short walk to railway station and few minutes to the town centre. Bar was closed during stay which was a shame.

I only stayed one night at Grey Street Hotel but can't fault it. The room was an excellent size, well-maintained and comfortable but what really impressed me were the desk staff. They were a credit to the hotel. I will definitely book again if I'm ever in Newcastle in the future.

Stayed here a few times now, it never disappoints me, the staff are all lovely. Lady on reception removers me and chef and waitress at breakfast were lovely also. Will stay again when I can as prices are amazing for what you get.

This hotel is an absolute diamond for stays in Newcastle great night life and shopping all around Hotel is beautifully furnished and every member of staff goes the extra mile - Maria in the breakfast room is outstanding an adorable adopted Geordie who made sure all of my guests were treated with respect and great care !!
