Yes, it is an rather „retro“ Hotel and so the sofa is a bit aged. So don‘t expect brand new furnishing/facillities. But it has it‘s charm and is a reminder of the former GDR. The staff is very friedly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious and offers many variations (also vegan milk and breadspread options) and lots of fresh fruit. The pool costs extra but was in good condotion. The whole family enjoyed the slides and the waves. Only the strikt non-smoking policy did not work and people unfortunately smoked on the balkony. The staff was very apologetic about it and tried to solve the problem immediately but could not find pur all smokers. Overall we experienced good value for our money and would definetely book again. An absolute plus: the view is incredible!

In short: one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Worst of all is the customer service. There was only one person at reception who spoke poor English. All the rest of the staff speak only German, all information and signs are in German. When checking in, we did not receive any information about amenities, facilities, absolutely nothing. Also, everyone is EXTREMELY unfriendly, almost rude. Even if there is absolutely no prior information, when you arrive at the hotel they charge for absolutely everything as an extra. To access the pool area, EUR 8 per person for 2 hours. The pool area is old and seedy (as is the entire hotel). The area is not suitable for small children as it is extremely cold and the water was "heated" to only 29 degrees! So we couldn't use the pool, but we still had to pay to stay 15 minutes in this horrible area. The room is extremely old, everything has strong signs of wear and tear. The rug was dirty, as was the couch. The bathroom is small and horrible, low pressure shower, tiny shower box and plastic curtains. In the kitchen there was only 1 pan (which was giant) and that was it! Impossible to use even to heat baby food. There are no microwaves or "normal" cups (only really mini ones). No accessories for cooking basically, not suitable for more than 1 night. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms. The parking lot is far away so it is not convenient if it is cold, raining or snowing.

Fine værelser. Flot ny sofa i stuen. Lille spisebord. Dejligt man kan åbne vinduer til frisk luft. Flot udsigt. Sæbe/bodyshampoo på badeværelset. Opvaskemiddel, klud og viskestykke i køkkenet. Savner opvaskebørste. Sparsoft køkken udstyr, jeg mangler a) skærekniv ud over brødkniv og b) kartoffelskræller. Alt koster ekstra. Aftenbuffet 40 euro pr person, det havde været ønskeligt at man kan købe en enkelt lille og billigere ret. 15 Euro for 1 times Tennis baneleje. Obs vi skød desværre tennisbolde ind på nabo fodboldbane hvor hotellet ikke har adgang til, så vi mistede dem. Alt informationsmateriale er på tysk, det havde været ønskeligt der var på engelsk også. Savner kaffe og te som velkomstgave, det har mange andre hoteller. Kl 17 indtjekning er meget sent, det vil være ønskeligt det var kl 15. Udtjekning kl 10, det vil være ønskeligt med kl 11 i stedet. Supermarked (tysk Netto) 2 min kørsel der fra, godt til indkøb af mad, billigt og stort udvalg.

Virkelig en skjult perle. Er meget imponeret. Alt var topklasse. Vandland, saunaland og Krea/legefaciliteterne var i top. Eneste lille minus er der ikke er fitnesscenter som billederne viser. Kan kun anbefales! Og sikke en udsigt. Wow

Ein großes Hotel mit allem was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind preislich okay. Das Schwimmbad ist Klasse! Frühstück und Buffetessen, wenn nicht im Paket gebucht, sehr teuer. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück hat uns besser gefallen, als beim Abendessen. Das war keine 40 € pro Person wert. Günstiger wirds aber durch die Personalkosten nicht mehr werden. Alles in allem ein schönes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub.

Heb ramen in de slaapkamers, geen airco op de kamers hierdoor was de slaapkamer erg warm. Badkamer stonk naar vis W verbleven er 5 dagen maar de handdoeken weiden niet vervangen, dit had ik al eens gehoord dus had eigen handdoeken bij me. Verder mooi hotel, vriendenlijke mensen, mooi uitzicht

Wir wurden im nebenhaus untergebracht gebucht wahr Hauptgebäude mit küche Kühlschrank usw. Bei uns gab es im zimmer gar nichts Zimmer Reinigung kostet extra Das duschen fpr meine kinder wahr unmöglich da das wasser innerhalb 10 sekunden von normal auf glühend heiß oder auf eiskalt gewechselt hat. Das versprochene gym wahr geschlossenen keine Information darüber deshalb bitte ich sie um eine Anteilsmäßige Rückerstattung des Reisepreises. Das Schwimmbad wahr bei uns immbegriefen jedoch musste man den gleichen betrag bezahlen wie die Tagesgäste wie Schwimmbad und sauna zusammen (11€= 2 Stunden ). Das Wlan wahr eine Katastrophe wir hatten fast nie Wlan viele gäste wahren gleicher Meinung die zahlreich aufgestellten süßwahren und getränke automaten haben unser geld geschlugt haben und die wahre nicht ausgeben auf unsere Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde wie immer bei allen Beschwerden gesagt ,,da können wir leider nichts machen". Wir sind als Familie schon in vielen Hotels gewesen und haben dadurch sehr viele Erfahrungen zur Halbpension gemacht. Was wir während unseres Aufenthaltes im IFA Schöneck erleben durften, übertrifft alle vorherigen Erlebnisse. Ob Frühstück oder Abendessen, 1A👌was hier geboten wird. Die Freizeitangebote sind auch sehr schön, Bur allem das Erlebnisbad. Wir kommen wieder, garantiert 👍

Top Lage für ein paar Tage Ruhe (oder Action) in der Natur! Für die Kids wird allerhand geboten (Klettern, Murmeln, Kinderwanderwege, Bad, Animation, Fahrradverleih, ...) Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut! Und das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer (zu 4.) was vom Platz her vollkommen ausreichend war - man ist ja eh kaum im Zimmer. :-) Alles in allem war alles sehr gut. Man hätte aber noch mehr Tage Urlaub benötigt um alle externe Attraktionen auszuprobieren!
