Very clean and safe city. People in general are very pleasant and drivers courteous (more than I have experienced anywhere else in Africa) . Nightlife is only good on weekends but there are lots of dining options available around the city .

A nice city with friendly people, surprisingly clean and polite, and worthwhile places to visit to better understand what happened in the genocide only 30 years ago.

Probably one of the most green and clean Africa cities that I have visited. Tourist attractions pricing are high even some have little to offer

Kigali and Rwanda are phenomenal. It is so safe there! People are genuinely friendly. I am seriously considering retiring there.

Its a easy city to walk around but the sites are well spread out so sometimes its best to just take a taxi.

It's a sprawling, bustling city but with the business subsiding signifiicantly on the Sunday.

I think Kigali is a very nice city, extremely clean and nice and happy people
"This hotel really feels like an African hotel. Its beautiful decor, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts are the best of Rwanda. It might not be as modern as some of the large chains but I definitely will be back. "
"One night stay here after 2 weeks travelling around.
Everyone was helpful and friendly.
Staff around the pool worked hard to make sure everyone had beds & towels
Food was great & view of the city was fabulous from our balcony."
"Great option in Kigali, particularly if you have an event at the convention centre, which is an easy 15-minute walk, with just one short steep stretch as you leave the hotel.
Other pro's:
- Newish building, modern design
- Friendly, helpful front desk staff
- Spacious room, decent kitchen area
- Comfortable bed
- Fitness room (though a bit small/crowded)
- Breakfast buffet (not a huge selection, but good quality)
- Good WiFi
Cons:
- The shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom, except by a curtain, so water ends up all over the floor. This seems like a common design in the region, but I found it really irritating."
"This was an incredible hotel to stay in! Great location in Kigali, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The dining options were wonderful as well. I highly recommend it! Airport pickup and drop off was a plus!"
"I greatly enjoyed my stay at Four Points. The staff were very attentive and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I was traveling without my baby and they went out of their way to accommodate me storing milk for my child. I greatly appreciate everyone at Four Points"
"Great location in a safe, clean, leafy green, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the Central Business District of Kigali. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the huge buffet breakfast in the lush garden setting is wonderful. I ate dinner at the restaurant at least 4 times while in Kigali, and each night it was very nice, with wonderful menu choices, attentive staff and a relaxing dining atmosphere. My room in the 4-star hotel was nice for one person, but would probably be very tight for 2 people. I liked the balcony, high ceilings, and colorful African decor. There was a mosquito in my room, which was a bit strange, but there is mosquito netting over the bed, which was nice. My only input is that it would be nice if the property had a free shuttle service to and from the airport. The price they charge for this is outrageous given the distance involved -- even by American standards -- and I chose to find another way. But many of their competitor hotels offer if, and I doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to step up and match the competition. FWIW, I nearly chose another hotel because of this detail. "
