The location is convenient closed to harbour and the street with restaurants, shops and supermarket. The property is quite old but building it’s clean and with good maintenance and vibes.
The host is really helpful and reply promptly.

Beautiful location, the most comfortable bed and linens, did not want to leave the bed! Lovely and unique old house, just an awesome spot to walk around and eat/shop. Highly recommend, worth every penny. Bring the people you love here :) P.S. stayed in the Maritime room.

Travellers #1
It is close to shopping , restaurants and walking paths.
The single bed in the Heritage room needs replacing as it really squeeks so any little movement in the night wakes everyone up.

This house is just beautiful and the room I stayed in (the Maritime) was lovely and had a very comfortable bed. It was nice and quiet, so I was able to work in the morning without distraction. I particularly enjoyed the personal touches around the house that you would never get in a chain hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

This is an old house, requiring so much maintenance and updating. Sadly that was lacking.
The location was lovely, right next door to Riva restaurant which was a great experience.

The place is a little tired, cobwebs in corners of room, awkward shower, no daily cleaning, not enough toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap). Next to a fabulous restaurant Riva, and quaint town near the water.

This 1826 (X) B&B , now a small hotel is very tired. In its glory days it must have been a 4 or 5 star place but now it is not. It has the potential of being a 5 star but its going to require lots of work, inside and out. It has a great charm, great location, it is quiet and easy walking distance to everything. The restaurant next door (Riva) is a must.
we stayed for 4 nights in the Garden Room, it was very large and had access to the front porch. Over all we enjoyed our trip to 1000 island area and and had a very good time . Matt a friend of the inn keeper was very helpful and pleasent to talk to.

Great location in the heart of Gananoque. Short walking distance to all restaurants, walking trails, waterfront. The Chrysler House is a historical building but is beginning to show its age ( no pun intended). The bathroom tile grout in the room we stayed needs to be cleaned/bleached to restore the grout back to white. Antique carpet in hallway stained and frayed. The in window AC unit’s power cord runs across passage way to closet causing a potential tripping hazard.

We stayed in the "Garden Room" which i think is listed as Deluxe Double on Expedia. We really enjoyed that there was no tv in the room so we could reconnect with each other during our stay. Gord, the proprietor's father, was extremely helpful lending us a brick for charging our phones overnight as we forgot ours at home. The suggested spots for breakfast were stellar! There was a cute little semi-private balcony sectioned off from the back porch accessible from a door in our room.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is wonderfully located between the marina and the downtown restaurants making it wasy to access everything you need by walk. The house itself was completely charming and the room itself just as wonderful. The shared spaces were all unique and pleasant to sit and chat and have tea. The room was beautifully decorated with vintage furniture and the black and dark gold floral wallpaper really made you feel like you were in another world. Hidden away but accessible was a connected bathroom to the room that made it feel particularly private despite sharing all other spaces with other guests. It was really pleasant. I would definitely recommend it and come again for sure.

First the positive; it's a great location if you're taking one of the thousand island boat cruises. The docks are only a 5 minute walk away.
The negatives; this is not a B&B, as there are no meals offered. Having said that, the room rate is less than nearby B&Bs. We stayed in the Garden room on the main floor which is in need of a refurbishment. The bed was fine, but there is no TV and the furnishings are pretty much at the end of their usefulness.
The owners purchased this property at the beginning of 2020 so perhaps Covid derailed any plans that they may have had to do a makeover. However, it's been 5 years now and there are many other B&B options in town to choose from.
