THE SKINNY: Immerse yourself in a different era! We have carefully crafted a 50's mid century/diner styled space for you to bring the whole family to enjoy! It is a comfortable space with plenty of seating options for lounging or dining, and we have 2 dedicated outdoor space for Unit C, one on the screened in patio, the other in the grass near the walkway to the front door with fire pit and adirondacks.
THE PROXIMITY: Simply 1 block to the beach! This property is situated along the most sought after part of A1A Beach Boulevard in St. Augustine Beach, walkable to quite literally EVERYTHING! We cannot state enough its proximity to everything from bars and restaurants to cafes and mini golf! Reference the drone pictures in the listing photos to see location. St. Aug Beach's top eateries - Mango Mango's, Stir It Up, Beachcomber, Jack's BBQ, The Taco Shop, Cafe 11, Sunset Grille, Salt Life and many more!
THE SPACE: The apartment itself, Unit C, sleeps 8 comfortably in 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full and and 1 set of Twin Bunks. All bedrooms are on 2nd floor. The kitchen is equipped to service 8 people and cook together for a great night in! The TV in the living room is a Smart TV, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows.
AMENITIES: Beach gear is included - beach towels, 4 camping style beach chairs, an umbrella and a rolling beach wagon. Laundry machines are in the unit's downstairs hall closet. Small patio table is situated on the screened in porch just off the dining room.
THE LAYOUT- Unit A has a solid 3/2 layout:
UPSTAIRS MASTER BEDROOM: King bed with en suite bathroom with shower/tub combo.
UPSTAIRS 2ND BEDROOM: 1 Full bed and 1 set of twin bunks.
UPSTAIRS 3RD BEDROOM: 1 Queen bed.
GUEST BATHROOM: In hall with shower/tub combo.
OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days.
PARKING: There are 3 spots labeled Unit C on the East side of the property. Please only park in the spots with signs that say Unit C. There is no other parking provided. The rest of the parking lot and driveways is dedicated to full time residents in the other units.
LAUNDRY: We offer a laundry closet with washer and dryer, starter laundry pods, iron and ironing board and some basic cleaning supplies for your convenience.
HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a 10-12 minute drive north is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine Beach. This home is situated very nearby a beach access walkover across A1A! We are a block away! You can also drive to one of the public beach accesses on St. Augustine Beach to park and walk on.
TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.
FYI: Per the listing, we will charge the card on file for the listing's Security Deposit of $500 on the day of check-in. The funds will be released 7 days after checkout if no damage is present upon your departure.
Guest Access:
Entire space of Apartment/Unit C ONLY is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. Limited parking. Please be sure to abide by parking rules notated in the above section.
All bedrooms are on 2nd floor.
Please do not walk around the other sides of the building. There are private full time residents who we do not want disturbed, thank you!
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is walkable to a ton of my favorite places at the beach! This neighborhood is very safe and GREAT for renting bikes from Drifters and seeing all of St. Augustine Beach's beauty!
The Kookaburra coffee shop is just a few short blocks away, and is a local favorite.
Just a 15 minute walk up A1A Beach Blvd is the pier where you can park and go fishing or enjoy the weekly Wednesday farmers market from 9am-12pm.
A 10 minute drive from historic downtown and 5 minute drive to The Amp! concert venue where many well known celebrities and musicians play!
Getting Around:
We recommend renting a car for your stay. If you prefer to travel by bicycle or would just like to rent them for fun, check out Drifters for drop off/pick up bike rentals.
Other Things to Note:
NOISE LEVELS: There are tenants in the 3 other units in the building. The interior walls of each unit border the interior walls of the unit next to it. We ask you to be considerate of the tenants in the other units by keeping noise levels down and observing quiet time especially from the hours of 10pm until 8am. The tenants will report to me if noise levels have reached an unacceptable level.
ALL BEDROOMS ARE UPSTAIRS.
Please do not walk around the other sides of the building. There are private residents who we do not want disturbed, thank you!
Parking is limited to the 3 gravel spots off of the driveway on the east side of the building.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
