Dirty floor, bugs, uncomfortable beds, expensive for the hotel type, breakfast was bad with undrinkable coffee that was instant from a machine, orange juice was the same from a machine, not even a boiled egg, just a waffle and yogurt basically and diy grits from a microwave

For the price point this motel was excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the property itself was well kept. It's close to everything you'll want to do in Helen, GA. We expected the breakfast to be only cold items, but were pleasantly surprised by the waffle maker. The kids loved the pool in the evenings after site-seeing. Overall, we'd happily stay here again when we visit Helen, GA.

The hotel itself is in a great location to explore Helen as well as surrounding state parks. There is a lovely trail that follows the river just across the street at is a lovely get away from the sun after exploring shops and restaurants
