The location of the hotel was the best. Central and just some minutes walk to Piazza Duomo, Cordusio and other places in the city center. Very old hotel though, which we probably should have expected already when reading the hotel name. But in big need of renovations. Shower extremely small. Room dodgy.

This place is very clean and nice. The staff is extremely helpful and great. The breakfast is good. The room I stayed in was very spacious for one person, the only thing I wish my room had was an outlet near the bed.

superb location, friendly staff, basic but good breakfast. Bathroom bit run down but fine for 2 nights. We enjoyed it (family of 3) and were hardly in the hotel.

This looks like a well-located, clean, serviceable hotel with decent basics, best suited for travelers who prioritize location and reliability over modern design or upscale amenities. If the building’s age doesn’t bother you, it’s likely a solid choice for a city-focused stay.
