Clean room, great central location. Slightly odd layout with sink not in bathroom. Could’ve done without the (frosted and cubed) glass walls to bathroom. Not ideal for privacy. No main desk for check in. Was checked in using a laptop, new one for me! Staff friendly and breakfast pretty good. Best thing is where the hotel is situated; close to shops, public transport, restaurants etc.

The hotel is in an excellent location for all the main tourist areas and restaurants etc. Arrival at the hotel is underwhelming with a small, free standing reception desk and a soulless dining area. Some of the staff do not appear suited to the role of front of house. The decor is quirky but you get used to it and the rooms are a good size and well proportioned. Water from the shower spills beyond the shower area (but the shower is good). There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast is basic quality however there is a wide range of items including scrambled egg and bacon. Overall the hotel is satisfactory but the location is excellent.

Compact but nice room. Friendly staff, great location. My room only had a view of the fire escape, and was a little hot. It was a great price though, and a nice breakfast thrown in too. I would definitely go back.

I didn’t realise the room didn’t have a wardrobe. It was fine for a couple of nights but any longer would have been difficult. I did find there wasn’t enough surfaces to put things on. Coffee was restocked with only decaf after first night. There was no reception desk and on second day loud music was playing in the corridor from a Bluetooth speaker and felt unprofessional. Breakfast was fine, I wouldn’t describe it as “top rated”. Overall a bit disappointing but location was great and toiletries were nice though I think you can get better for your money elsewhere in Brussels.

L'hôtel semble délaissé. La propreté de la chambre était douteuse, avec des tâches dans le draps de lit et les serviettes de bain. L'hôtel est vieux et on voit qu'on ne prend pas bien soon. Le personnel était très sympa et agréable par contre. La sonorisation est horrible et j'entendais tout dehors et du couloir de l'hôtel. Je suis très déçu de Hotels.com d'avoir des avia aussi positifs alors que ça ne reflete pas du tout la condition de l'hotel.

First the good points…location was excellent; central and near to a metro station. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast decent. However, this place is more of a hostel than a hotel. No reception desk as such. The rooms are small and furnished with cheap and poorly fitted fixtures. ( one shelf was hanging off the wall and the headboard was missing). Little storage space. Only a badly fitted hanging rail placed directly above a coffee machine! Staff seemed inexperienced, and breakfast was a lottery to see which items were missing. Spoons one day, glasses the next, bowls the following. Same with food… getting items replaced was painfully slow! A lot of the crockery was chipped. Only used the room for shower, sleep and breakfast. So it suited our needs…just!

Dieses Hotel war das schlechteste, in dem wir je auf einer Städtereise übernachtet haben. Beim Frühstück gab es nicht ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck, das Rühreis und der Bacon waren eiskalt - wirklich eklig. Ansonsten gab es kaum etwas außer abgepackter Marmelade, Naturjoghurt und zähen kleinen Brötchen. Auch kein Aufschnitt. Dur Kaffeemaschine war defekt, ebenso der Fön im Zimmer. Das Personal war uninteressiert. Mussten beim Auschecken 10 Minuten warten, weil 2 Hotelangestellte in aller Seelenruhe erstmal draußen eine Zigarette rauchten. Ansonsten zeigte ein Blick in die Küche, dass alles sehr schmuddelig und chaotisch war. Dreckiges Geschirr war aufgetürmt. Wirklich unappetitlich. Wir empfehlen, dieses Hotel zu meiden.

A very small room with no room to walk around the bed, a vtiny wet room as a bathroom with a dreadful "rain" shower, so the water ran into the bedroom, no plug in the handbasin so you hystem which did not function properly, so we were cold every night.
