We arrived late due to traffic on motorway and hotel's car park (€20) was already full, luckily there is a general car park next to the hotel with plenty of spaces (only €2 for 24hrs!). Check in was quick however our room had no power. Rather than give us another room, they came up and fiddled with fuse box above suspended ceiling. The lights came on but TV didn't work (we were asked whether we actually need it...) In the end they switched us to another room, but I had to follow them downstairs and 'assist' in the re-booking process. The new room had a piece of used cheese in the fridge but we were too tired to address it. Surprising lack of attention to detail (if electrics can count as one) but what's worse, not a word of apology from the staff - we understand things go wrong but that's why you have trained staff for, to make up for these mistakes. We no longer think highly of Hilton chain, and definitely don't associate it with top service. Shame.
