Fair.
They had clearly done a renovation of our room with marble top fixtures, a king size bed, microwave, and refrigerator. It seemed like they hadn't got the job done. The only lighting was overhead. It would have been very nice to have a lamp next to the bed. It would have been nice to have a rack to hang towels on. It would have been nice to have a chair to sit in, as half the room was empty. And it would have been nice to have some cheap plastic cups to drink out of. A bonus would have been a coffee maker.

Lesson learned
Heat stopped working at 1 in the morning when it was below 40 outside. Owner said I had 10 minutes to leave of I wanted a refund because it had been all day and he could rent the room to someone else. He had just turned away walkins that he could give my room too. Again at 1am after i had been at the room already for the day. THIS COULD BE YOU GETTING MY ROOM! Would not give me time to look up another hotel. I had to decide to stay and get an extra blanket or try to find a hotel from my car at 1 am in 30 to 40 degree weather during mardi gras. Fortunately the heat came back on just as I was gathering my things after being off for an hour or 2. I decided to be practical and take a shower while it was working and cross my fingers that it would not go off again. Ah yes...when he cam in because it had power he said its working its just not blowing hot air right now....when i just now came into your room from outside i can feel a difference in temeperature. He taught me a valuable lesson to avoid mom and pop hotels and always have a backup place planned ahead.

As a roadside motel it is fine. Location is as safe as could be. Clean rooms that are sparce but ulititarian. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed over Super Bowl weekend so prices were artificially inflated and selection was slim.

Sam was amazing as well as other staff. Location isn’t the greatest but the place is fenced in and definitely secured. Room was great for the price…clean, good water pressure and good bed

Nola’s interior thank you where is the restaurant atrooms were extremely clean extremely fresh the interior the rooms were very Good The property outer appearance needs a lot of improvement. Employees were Extremely nice.

No shower just bath. The AC unit blew out air that made the room smell like someone urinated all over the place. When I first arrived it took the front drsk 15 seconds to come to the window and asset. I had a lot of events to attend to and my Keycard wouldn't open the gate and constantly had to have them reactivate the key.

Property was safe as it is enclosed by a high fence with key card entry only to the rooms area. Staff were very friendly. Room was recently renovated and very clean. There were, however, no lamps on the bedside tables so it was inconvenient to turn the lights on and off. No gaps in doorway. Actually quiet for the area. Would definitely stay again. Convenient to NO port for cruises. Priced appropriately.
