Clean and cozy, has issues
I wasn't going to leave a review, but I should for everyone's sake. We believe this place is a work in progress but some things should be taken care of.
The pros: it was clean, hosts are very nice, including the four footed fur baby, could park right outside your door. Nice tile work in bathroom. Microwave and fridge in room. Right on Missouri River. Deadbolt and security chain on door, since it's an outside entrance. Room small but ok for 1 night.
However, having the temperature of the air conditioner glowing brightly all night was a bummer. Would be nice to enclose lines from the AC all the way to the wall, not a good look. Heard the neighbors upstairs. Bed very soft, ok for some, probably. Holes in curtains. It is clear that this place needs an enormous amount of work. It would help immensely to get rid of the pile of mattresses outside. It just doesn't present well. I hope the owners can bring this property to a nice place. We need family owned businesses like this. We didn't want to push to Mitchell, so stopped here. Not many choices for eating. It is a small town.
