Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach. There are beach chairs available for free as a guest of the hotel. Everything is door codes so you don’t need to worry about losing keys at the beach. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Not having a front desk really didn’t bother me because the texting line was very responsive. There is a Roku tv with tons of channels available and overall it’s pretty quiet.
Biggest issues are the room smells very musty are leaving and coming back but the smell goes away very quickly. The parking is a nightmare. The hotel claims there is parking but there isn’t. Street parking is insane and you have to renew it every 4 hours (they ticket like crazy out here so don’t screw up if you street park) and the garages are disgustingly expensive and inconvenient. You have to pay 20-40$ a day to park and that’s without any in/out privileges. This means if you go to dinner and come back you’re paying another 40$. It’s insane. Don’t bring a car if you want to stay here. We ended up finding a garage that offers monthly parking passes and that was cheaper than paying for parking the normal way.
Because of the no front desk thing you’re kind of on your own. We spilled something on the sheets and we were promptly brought new sheets but I had to make the bed myself. You only get cleaning 1x every 4 days but we were able to out the trash out in the hall to get emptied.
