This stay was a gem! Very new, great bedding, really beautiful views of mountains, islands and horses. This was our favourite stay in Iceland.

We loved the property, peacefulness, and remote location. The dogs were a pleasant surprise and a joy to watch them play.

We loved our stay! The views of nothing were so amazingly peaceful and interesting at the same time. I would stay here again.

This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I’ve stayed. The weather was rainy but for about an hour things cleared up and we sat on the deck and took everything in. My only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Lovely, calm stay with great kitchen and bathroom. Staff messages were clear and helpful. Very clean and amazing seabirds!

If I could put more than 5 stars, I would. It was easy to find, the room was comfortable, and it felt bigger because there's also a separate kitchen and bathroom that you share with guests who stay in the second room, but sharing was no hassle at all. Felt very homey and lovely, would definitely recommend.

Ottimo alloggio, molto curato e pulito. Molto bello in tutto. L'unica pecca è condividere la zona stoviglie col bagno.

This was our favourite place to stay in Iceland. The mountain views are gorgeous and the cottage is new, modern, beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. We wished we could stay longer! We were nervous booking this because there were only a few reviews but are so happy we did. We also loved the quiet and seclusion while only a 15-20 min drive from Hvolsvöllur for groceries or dining out.

Off the beaten path. Quiet and restful. The tiny home was well equipped for our two day stay, kitchenette, travel info, basic necessities such coffee. I highly recommend the Puffin for those travelers seeking tranquility.

Very quiet location. Stayed at the cottage, was spotlessly clean, heated and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Only thing to keep in mind, in the summer with constant light, the living room sofa is not completely shaded so if you need, be prepared with eye covers. And when the rain is relatively heavy it is well heard.

It is a very clean and well maintained property with incredible views of the plains, grass, hills and wild horses roaming in the back. Owner has 2 friendly dogs and it is fun to play with them as they roam the backyard. The place is small but has everything 2 people may need. The road is not paved, so drive carefully.

This property was excellent, clean, quiet, beautiful location and ideal for us to explore the south coast. The hosts were very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches of having cooking oil, two different options for coffee, extra towels, salt and pepper and shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. Highly recommend and if ever back to beautiful Iceland this is where we will stay. Thanks again for having us.
