I’m surprised to see this hotel described as “exceptional.” In our experience, it was average at best. While the rooms were acceptable and staff generally helpful, there were several issues.
Restaurant service was poor. On our first night, a hot drink was forgotten despite asking three times. Breakfast was consistently unreliable: although there are only four options, portions and items varied daily, things were often missing, and service was very slow.
The rooms were poorly thought out and not particularly child- or adult-friendly. In our room, rebar was protruding from the floor, which felt unsafe and unacceptable (photos attached). Cleanliness was also lacking, despite the hotel promoting a zen, yoga-friendly atmosphere.
Overall, the hotel has potential but needs better upkeep, more attention to detail, and a clearer sense of identity. For us, it was a 5/10.
