This is a wonderfully nostalgic place to stay. The manager was incredibly nice and the cleaning person was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a reasonable place to stay if you’re visiting Chaco Canyon. It’s a well maintained, old school motel, definitely not fancy but with everything you need for a night. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could.

Frontier Inn was super-clean and roomy! Rosemary checked me in. She gave me an excellent recommendation for a dinner place and also shared her experiences from Chaco Canyon. Great people, great place!

They close at 9pm...need to get there before then. Convenient for the location I needed to be the next day. There was food on the ceiling like a drink was splashed up there. They should clean that. The blinds were missing I used a napkin to cover it... otherwise it sufficed.

The Motel's parking lot was in dire need of maintenance. Inside the room was nice. Dated, but nice. We had a family suite with a kitchen and one queen bed and two twin beds. It also had a nice fenced back yard with a sign saying to clean up after your dog. Which I found confusing since no pets were allowed The swamp cooler was not working and after some persuasion, someone came and fixed it The swamp cooler was unable to keep the bedroom with the twin beds cool. My son was unable to sleep due to the heat. I think switching out the swamp cooler with a window AC or two would solve this problem.

This hotel surprised me. The exterior is very dated but the family room was spacious, it had a full kitchen and a private outdoor space. I would stay again.

Property was old and rundown. Best food option was at the gas station and the coffee cart up the road. Room seemed clean (bathroom sketchy/ wear shower shoes!) bed comfortable. We called it the “Bates” motel. ‘nuff said. Only lodging in town and we were glad to have a place to stay.
