Had a lovely stay. Room was very basic but it was absolutely perfect value for the price paid. Everything was spot on for relaxing after a days hiking. I would definately visit again.

Great location, lovely place too. Super helpful staff with us turning up late in the night. Lovely breakfast the next morning too. The place needs some cosmetic work, but it’s clear they’re working hard to get this done

Arriving around 8pm, the car spaces around the hotel were full, so I was directed to the public car park which was close by, and took the final space.

A community run Hotel. Interesting concept and clearly very important to the local community. Good continental breakfast in pleasant dining area. option for cooked breakfast (supplement) Friday and Saturday. Good range of evening meals (5 - 8 pm) Good quality and reasonably priced. Eat in the bar or the more formal dining area Room was very comfortable. Parking for 9/10 cars is plenty except if a number of non residents are present for meals or drinks. Bar well set up with good range and sensible prices

The first room had a leak but there wasn't a problem moving us. The location is just stunning. Didn't stay for breakfast. But overall a pleasant stay.
