Had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Le Roy. Pros: Great location, convenient to everything in the Gap. On the beach. Clean room. Beach towels and chairs provided. Friendly staff. Cons: No elevator. No complementary coffee. No gift shop for forgotten essentials. Open window in the bathroom didn't help with keeping the sleeping area cool. Formally the Infinity. The front desk staff was very attentive, taking care of all of our taxi needs, dinner reservations and inquiries. We stayed on the third floor which requires you to walk up a narrow staircase. No elevator. We stayed in what they called the Penthouse, two floors. Lovely balconies for ocean views and a kitchenette with a refrigerator. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. White bed linens are always hard to keep clean, noticing old stains. Bathroom was clean but the window in the bathroom is open with just a screen. The bathroom held the heat of the day and the noises of night. We hung a small towel in the window in hopes of blocking both and closing the door as well. Maybe a 50% improvement. The shower did have shampoo, conditioner and bodywash but no shelving so they sat on the floor of the shower. Towels also were not crisp white. I thought one day after housekeeping came in that they just rerolled our bath and wash clothes. Meals. Chose to eat meals off vendors, Gap or at the pink hotel next door, lovely buffet. Restaurant at the hotel was slow, needed more offerings.

The room was poor. Although the main areas of the hotel have been reformed our room was scruffy and the shower area was poor. We also had an infestation of mosquitoes in the room. Cleaning of the room was not thorough enough. The staff were very polite and helpful especially in the bar area. The beach front location is excellent and Philip the beach manager is excellent.

Perfect location, right by the beach and with lots of shops and restaurants close by. 20 mins from airport. Sun chairs included and great beach. Service was super and rooms clean and with sea views. Free Nespresso in your room and a good size fridge. We loved it and will come back for sure. Great staff!!

The Garden View Room was dated, it was one meter from the small pool which luckily was never used but right on the path to the bar and beach, which gave no privacy. There was an old fridge in the room which was noisy and froze any content. There was also a useful Nespresso machine but not a kettle, but the bar staff was kind to give me a cup of warm water for a tea. A very annoying thing in the room was the internet router installed right opposite the bed with green lights flashing day and night. A la carte breakfast was good with very big portions.

Very disappointing stay. Know hotel well as stayed before it change to Le Roy. Always said we wouldn’t come back but gave it a second chance. It’s had a surface make over, bar moved to a better position and some wood detail added here and there . Rooms have been painted and all new soft furnishings . Furniture the same. Reception staff are lovely and sorted out our numerous issues but we shouldn’t have had those issues. Bed wasn’t changed for 8 nights and then only done after 2 visits to reception. Supposed to be changed every 3 days . This didn’t happen and had to report back to reception asking for it to be changed . Lazy housekeeping. Dust on the metal of the lamps, outside table not cleaned. Just general lack of care or interest. We lost power in our room one night about 11:30 pm. Only security were on duty. They organised a change of room for us about midnight. Thankfully we hadn’t had much rum !!! No acknowledgment from management or apology. No letter under the door to say our room had power back. Nothing. No beach bed at 10am at hotel. Was told guests lie on them from 8am. Not good enough. It’s a beach front property that’s the attraction. Beds were provided when I complained but there was no umbrella available which was fine as we don’t use them. I questioned why they are selling day passes when guests of the hotel need them. Restaurant same old appalling service . 55 mins to get food places in front of you. Breakfast was like warm

Appartement sur 2 étages avec chacun un balcon et une vue sublime sur la mer. Le gros plus est la vue mer mais l'appartement lui-même est très basique et les meubles sont fatigués. La salle de bain mériterait d'être refaite. La kitchenette est sommaire (rien pour cuisiner) et le frigo est en mauvais état. Bref hôtel décevant si on considère la très bonne note sur le site (?) et le prix payé qui correspond plutôt à celui d'un 4 étoiles. De mon point de vue cet hotel serait plutôt un 2 étoiles supérieur en France. Le ménage pourrait également être amélioré : traces sur les miroirs, ménage superficiel. Néanmoins le personnel à la reception et sur la plage est charmant, et le restaurant plutôt bien. La plage est très agréable (avec chaises longues), on peut y nager avec les tortues (sur la droite de la plage) ce qui améliore l'expérience globale.

This was our first stay at Hotel Le Roy and it was absolutely unforgettable! The hotel exudes charm and the staff are incredibly welcoming. Our room was gorgeous, with a stunning ocean view that made every morning feel like a dream. Right on the beach, we had lovely loungers available each day to relax in. A huge shout‑out to Phill, who always made sure everyone was well looked after and took the time to say hello—truly appreciated. We also loved the two happy hours daily, sipping gorgeous cocktails; the rum punch was my favorite. On our last day we chatted with Chris, who was just as friendly and welcoming. What a fantastic trip—didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely be back ❤️

La chambre et le personnel étaient parfaits. J’ai réussi à avoir un petit réfrigérateur le lendemain de mon arrivée. C’est quand même surprenant que ce ne soit pas automatique que dans un hôtel de cette qualité, il n’y en ait pas dans toutes les chambres. Ma chambre était du côté est, à côté de la plaza et certains soirs la musique et les chants karaoke étaient très forts jusqu’à 1:00 am. Impossible de dormir ou d’écouter la télévision. L’endroit, le personnel, la bouffe, la plage, tout est vraiment bien!

Really cute little boutique hotel right on the beach. Clean rooms, fantastic “happy hour” twice a day and staff member SHARON was the most wonderful person! Would definitely recommend.
