Pros about the hotel: clean, private, exactly what the pictures show, right on the beach, the staff was kind and attentive, and a cool design/aesthetic. Cons: no hot water (but not freezing) in the shower, the bar wasn’t functional - no one was working there and it seemed like it was just posted for marketing purposes

No tenían servicio de comida y bebidas. El check out no nos informaron que era a las 11:00am y no nos podemos quedar en las instalaciones del hotel, tenemos que salir o bien comprar un day pass de $20 por persona lo cual es absurdo. No lo hacen en otros hoteles.

This hotel was amazing, clean and had wonderful staff. I would hands down stay here again and again. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Even after spending 10 days here the view was like seeing it for the first time every morning. Sleeping at night with my balcony open hearing the whispers of the ocean priceless. I had the experience of partying at the beach club, seeing a fireworks show on the beach and lastly a beach bomb fire all hosted by the hotel...chefs 💋

Pool problems . They must be using bleach. My blue cotton suit and t-shirt turned purple. My eyes burned after leaving the pool. On the beach but difficult to access due to millions of big rocks. Our room was the rustic room. On the surface it was clean-- floorboards and windows not. Noisy all the way around. Construction noise during the day. Loud music (restaurant next door) and semi trucks in the highway at night. No breakfast. Limited food options except expensive and not very good restaurant next door. Found a good Salvadorian cafe by chance on the highway quite close the last few days, for breakfast and dinner. Grocery store on the highway-- bus .25¢ to swimming beaches. Make sure you ask. Convenient if you have a car. The lady employee was super kind and helpful.

I found this place by emergency, we booked another place and it was bad so in that moment search for another place and found this one. I’m so glad I found it. My family and I had an amazing time. Every one was so king and welcoming the place is beautiful, the beach was amazing. My kids enjoyed the beach a lot. The staff was amazing. Surf city is close by. I definitely want to come back.

Las instalaciones del hotel, a pesar que no esta terminado, son aceptables. Mi mala experiencia estuvo en el check out. A las 11am llegó alguien del personal a tocar la puerta, diciendo que teniamos que desocupar la habitación, que el check out era a las 11am. Tuve que buscar mi reserva y demostrarle que era a las 12pm. Su respuesta fue "el encargado manda a decir que a las 11am tienen que desocupar". Me negué a hacerlo, pues no estaba lista ni era lo que decia mi reserva. Entre el lapso de 11am a 11:50am que fue el momento donde salí, llegaron en 4 ocasiones a sacudir la chapa, en insistencia de que desocuparamos antes de la hora establecida. Fue demasiado incomoda esa presión, cuando estaba dentro del tiempo reservado. El check out indicado era a las 12pm. A considerar, la reserva no incluye desayuno y el hotel no tiene cocina para servirlo con costo adicional.

This place is going through a remodel. They should definitely not be opened until that is done. The room was ok. There was no available food or bar in the property. Also the place has changed its name and not updated it online so it was difficult to find. Casa Playa Blanca is what’s on the sign
