Extremely comfortable bed , high quality bed linen . Absurdly small en suite , so small that when sitting on the loo my knees touched the wall in from of me !!!

Was the best place we stayed on our whole 8 week driving tour around Scotland. Beautiful countryside but close to city’s easy place to do day trips exploring the Scottish border towns which are stunning full of so much history. Maureen and her staff at Belstane could not be more friendly and helpful with any requests. Your made to feel so so welcome I felt very at home. Just what I needed on our last week in Scotland. I will most definitely be back. Much appreciated Jude & Jon

I turned up quite late in the day and was welcomed to this lovely B&B. Beautiful views around the property and the rooms and breakfast area have been decorated to a very high standard. But the best bits are the bed/bedding and the breakfast. I stay in 80/90 hotels a year a this is the most comfy by a mile. I overslept but they still put breakfast on for me later than planned. I will be visiting again. Lovely host and staff beautiful setting.

Maureen and the team were very friendly and accomodating. The accomodation is co-located with an Equestrian centre so the staff may not be there for check in, but contact the number provided and they will be right there. The room was very spacious, it was kept clean and tidy, and serviced everyday. A lovely breakfast was included and varied to suit our requests. The centre is 5mins (drive) from Carluke, so you will need to have transport for dinner as that is not available on site. The only other negative was the lack of a fridge, which is pretty standard here, but we we able to have some items stored in a fridge for us. The staff were super friendly, full of great tips, and went out of their way to look after us. The location was great to access both Glasgow and Edinburgh by train (45mins), and Stirling and border country by car. There are heaps of scenic drives to take. We would definitely stay here again.

Vi ble tatt godt imot, og vi følte oss som hjemme. Vi kunne gå rundt å hilse på alle hestene, og de vi møtte i stallen var veldig hyggelige. God frokost og fine rom. Bra service.
