This place is great! The location is right on the beach and about 45 minutes or so to the airport. The room was great with a balcony overlooking the pool and beach.

El hotel muy bonito y limpio, el personal del hotel muy atentos, pero los del restaurante les falta entrenamiento y profesionalismo es hora del desayuno y ellos no andan pendientes del q llega. Lo negativo del lugar es el parqueo es pura tierra y cuando llueve uno literalmente está en un charco. La comida 8/10

Very clean rooms. Staff was very amazing and very accommodating. We spoke little spa is but Alex spoke English and was very helpful. The only thing I noticed was no in room blow dryers or extra toes apart so you have to ask which neither affected our teip or overall experience here.

The room was clean and had the air conditioner full blast. The staff was really nice and helpful. Getting to the property had a bumpy road but the beach outside of the property is pretty. There was only sand and no rocks. Breakfast was included which was a plus, the problem was that it took a while but it was tasty.

Everything was great. Very clean rooms, the food was good, the staff is excellent. The views are awesome... The only thing that I didn't like was the loud music daily until 10 or 11pm. I couldn't hear the TV in my room. Also I tried to go to bed before my early trip back around 9pm as I needed to be up at 3:30am as Uber was picking me up. I didn't sleep much as they had speakers around the pool blasting music until after 10 pm on a Sunday night. Also I wished the pool facing the ocean was for us guests at the hotel. No, it was for locals. Our guest pool was in front of the hotel. Small pool facing the parking lot. Everything else no complaints.

Ok, this is the place if you like quiet and self-contained over big action and walkable. The black sand beach is awesome. Freshwater shower straight into the infinity pool (perfect temperature): awesome. The on-site restaurant is excellent with unbelievably good prices. The staff is better that you can imagine. The manager, Alex, speaks perfect English and does everything he can to make your stay great. The rest of the staff: pretty much just Spanish. Our room had incredible air conditioning (which all gringos will need in Playa San Blas) and the room also has a refrigerator, balcony, and comfy (albeit firm) bed. The only drawback: you'll be taking advantage of those cheap $3.00-$4.00 Ubers to get to stores, restaurants, and El Sunyal. This property is great but not at all walkable. The only thing in walking distance is 15 minutes to a really nice shopping center, but you'll be right on the side of a major road with no sidewalks to get there. Highly recommended if you like quiet luxury, speak decent tourism Spanish, and are comfortable with the Uber app. Last walkability note: there's a surf shop two doors down if you're here to surf.
