For an older motel this property was very nice. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. I do wish they had a few things I needed, like a hair dryer in the room and a few hangers in the closet. Overall I would stay there again.

If you’re gonna be staying in the Somerset/ Pulaski County area, please book a room at 7 Gables Hotel. You won’t be disappointed. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They don’t hesitate to help you when you need new linens or things like that. They’re very family friendly.

I liked everything from the front desk to my room. Very clean, very comfortable, just like home, very nice. Everybody at the front desk is very nice, very helpful. Nice breakfast. Comfortable, bed, nice bathroom. Everything is just perfect, very, very nice. I will be back for another day when I am this way

So if you stay here,,make sure you get there during business hours,,which Vary. No check in 24hrs a day! Plenty of Weekly renters there, who like to sit outside late and talk.room rates vary dramatically based on where you book them. Staff,what little there is,is friendly,but not knowledgeable. Rooms were okay,,clean,,old furnishings. Mattress was comfortable. Don't expect much from the breakfast offered. Overall Okay at best experience. You pay for what you get. Pool was nice!

The office/front desk was never staffed while we stayed there for 3 nights. There is no morning coffee or amenities even though they lead you to believe there is. We had to call to get someone to come to the property to check us in. Our toilet quit working after one night and they had to move us to another room. At check in they tried to put us in a queen size bed room when we had reserved a king room. Price was cheap so I guess we got what we paid for. Won't stay here again.

They had overbooked and did not have a room ready with king bed and asked if I would take a double which I declined . somehow they said they could have a king room ready in 30 minutes. After returning the king room it was without towel and washcloth, brown water coming out of the shower and sink, no phone in the room to call front desk , dirt and trash under the bed . I guess you get what you pay for as it was a cheaper priced room but looks like inexperienced people running and caring for this motel.

We enjoyed the older building and its charms. It was clean . AC worked great!!! Beds were comfortable. Pillows were not rock hard like in other motels we have stayed at . The pool was beautiful!!! Outside each room was a comfortable seat and a fire bucket for the smokers. My husband liked that idea!! Only thing that made our visit difficult was how to contact the office person. We will be back!!!!

We rented two rooms, a king and a double. The king mattress didn’t have a bed rail so it had a giant dip in middle. The double mattress’s were perfect, soft but definitely new. The lights in parking lot are bright through the curtains but overall very nice place. Lots of boaters there for the lake and the ice machine works.

We stayed a night at the 7 Gables Motel on our way home from visiting family out of state. We were hot & tired and this was our haven of rest. We were met at checking by a wonderful couple who were very kind & helpful. We were hot & tired and this place was just what we needed. We got a nice warm shower and watched a little TV before climbing into bed for a great night sleep. One of the best experiences we ever had!

Wendy at the front desk was amazing! The property was mediocre at best. My mattress was absolutely HORRIBLE, it was completely broken down, I left with my body in agony. The bathroom ceiling had been leaking and had a little mold on it. There are very few electrical outlets in the rooms. The pool area was clean and well maintained. Access to ice and towels was easy. However, the vibe of the place was very chill and relaxed with easy access to the lake. I would stay again but not in the same room.

Room was adequate. There are no secondary locks on your door which I did not like. We checked in online and when we arrived the attendant was out for dinner. Someone else had to let us in our room and said they'd be back in about 45 minutes. We had no room key. We went out for dinner and when we came back, still no attendant. The same lady gave us her key to the room. We checked out the next morning, still no attendant so no coffee either for the morning. Woukd not recommend staying here.
