This hostel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The common areas on the first and second floors are very spacious and great for relaxing. Each floor also has a place to refill water, which is very convenient. What impressed me the most was the bathrooms — they are extremely clean and well maintained. The hostel also provides free, clean towels for guests to use, which is a really nice touch. The location is excellent as well. It’s only about a 10–15 minute walk from South Station, making it very easy to get around the city. I would definitely stay here again.

The hostel was a good experience overall. It was very clean in the rooms and in the kitchen area. I would recommend Hostel Boston to anybody looking for a clean simple stay. The staff made a great effort to clean the bathrooms and maintain the hostel. The kitchen area was handy in the sense that one can make a meal or sit down to eat. Overall pretty good. Blanket was way too thin for winter in Boston! I had to take the top bunk’s (empty bed)! The area is nice and Boston is very safe, esp downtown. I’d come back for sure.
