The rooms were spotless and the view from the veranda room was excellent. The location was also excellent as it was close to the beach and a number of restaurants in Sumner. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

Beautiful guest house next to the beach. Walk to cafe and restaurants. Clean, homey, lovely house and super accommodating owners. Thoroughly enjoyed having tea in the sunroom watching the waves and the view!

lovely place- clean, nice owners, walk across from the beach- bed was too small and uncomfortable- tv stations were unwatchable, religion and channel 1 with the rest reality tv- you could hear what was happening next door- we were told that the other rooms were better

This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops.
